The Infertility Awareness Association of Canada is your voice.
IAAC is a not-for-profit group whose mission is to “support Canadians living with reproductive health issues through education and advocacy and to educate the public about reproductive disease”.
IAAC advocates on behalf of Canadians for equal access to fertility treatments, and has publicly and vocally supported IVF funding to anyone who will listen. If you need support, or a list of resources, or someone who can help point you in the right direction, you can call IAAC.
One of the most important things about IAAC is that it is an objective group that isn’t part of the IVF industry. Its only interest is in protecting the patient, and because of that, it is an unbiased advocacy group that has the ear of both the federal government and provincial governments.
I have been proud to be an IAAC Board Member for many years, and I am excited about some of the new initiatives coming down the pipe. To show their support, each Board member is launching a personal 30 day challenge to help raise some awareness and help raise some funds so that we can dream even bigger. Here is my 30 day challenge:
For every dollar that my clients, both new and existing, donate to IAAC in the next 30 days, I will deduct twice the amount of the contribution from their next account. Donate X, receive a deduction of 2X. The math is straightforward, the benefits clear and immediate, and it’s a Win/Win.
